The African Arts Fund was an anti-apartheid organization that assisted South African artists find training and educational opportunities in the United States while there were no or few opportunities for blacks in South Africa. The African Artists Fund grants to South African artists in the media of drama, music, photography, film, writing, poetry, dance and the visuals arts. The African Arts Fund worked to expose artists to democratic view. Dawn Zain was Executive Director.
