MAACC's main goal was to promote action oriented anti-apartheid activity. MAACC membership consisted of individuals and representatives of groups and labor unions doing anti-apartheid work on any level. The Michigan Anti-Apartheid Coordinating Council supported a rally against apartheid in Lansing held on September 9, 1986.
