Steve Biko Coalition for Full Divestment was the name given to the overall movement during a sit-in started by the Campaign Against Apartheid on the steps outside Sproul Hall in April by students at the University of California, Berkeley. It was not really an organization. The sit-in was part of a campaign to get the University of California to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. Those conducting the sit-in renamed Sproul Plaza to Biko Plaza. (Source: William Nessen who was active in the anti-apartheid movement at the University of California, Berkeley.)
