Anti-Apartheid Committee for Selective Purchasing

The Anti-Apartheid Committee for Selective Purchasing campaigned for municipal economic action against selected U.S. corporations (Control Data, IBM, ITT and Motorola) involved in the support of South African apartheid by Washington, DC. The Anti-Apartheid Committee for Selective Purchasing was represented at the Working Conference on Southern Africa at Madison, Wisconsin in October 1975. It is not known when the organization came into existence or when it stopped operating.
