Stanford Out of South Africa

Stanford Out of South Africa (SOSA) was an anti-apartheid student organization at Stanford University that worked to get the university to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. SOSA was formed in mid April 1985 by nearly 100 individuals representing about 12 campus organizations. Apparently SOSA started as a coalition but turned into a stand alone organization.
