Oblong metal anti-apartheid button showing face of Nelson Mandela in gold in the center. The text appears in gold on a black border around the top portion of the button and on a green border around the bottom portion. The button marks Mandela’s 70th birthday (on July 18, 1988) and was produced for the tribute concert at Wembley Stadium on June 11, 1988. TUC is the Trade Union Congress. The concert was attended by a capacity audience of 72,000 and broadcast to more than 60 countries. Size: 1-1/2 x 1-1/4 inches.
