1970s or 1980s?
Round metal button with map of Africa in the center. There are three bands of color – red, black, and green, each of which contains a white letter that make up “ANC,” the acronym of the African National Congress. The map appears on a white circle with thin orange horizontal stripes that match a solid orange ring around the outside of the button. “CRY FREEDOM” appears in dark blue in the orange ring around the bottom of the button. The button most likely was created in the United States. Size: 3 inches across.
