In June the enclosed letter was sent to contributors to the South Africa trip. On June 24-25 six members of the group had a productive visit to Washington with Congressional leaders and officials at the State Department and the South African Embassy. Also James Wright has been to New York City to testify before a United Nations committee dealing with South Africa. On July 20 the trip group met to consider our continued existence as a group. In general, there seems to be abundant reasons for continuing activity in such areas as education, legislative monitoring and strategies such as divestment. [Note: The June letter is on this website.]
