Due to the irresponsibility of the administration and President Bloustein, and the obvious lack of interest in our health, concerns, and convictions and voice of students, we, the Rutgers Coalition for Total Divestment find it incumbent upon us, as the moral body we are, to call a conclusion to the hunger strike. It is clear to us that when a student takes the ultimate step of self-induced denial to identify with the suffering and oppression in South Africa, clearly economically propped up by American companies, and still does not win the sincere attention of its president, that the student voice is bound to be continually disrespected.
