Contents: LIKE A TREE PLANTED IN THE WATER, WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED…. • OF BUSHROADS AND BLOOD PRESSURE…. • PATTERNS IN THE SAND • She died this morning at 4 o’clock. This gentle, bright, beautiful daughter of Bishop Kleopas Dumeni is one more victim of South Africa’s illegal occupation. We had come to know Kandaha Dumeni only the week before she was injured in a blast which killed twenty-six other Namibians. Our family spent two weeks in Namibia last month. After fifteen years of learning about the country, we finally were able to see with our own eyes, and experience for ourselves the suffering and struggle and faith of the people.
