Statement in support of the American Committee on Africa and the University Christian Movement in carrying out their present campaign against American banks currently lending support to the South African government. The Committee on South Africa of the Social Action Committee in continuing to express its concern for the oppressed of that nation and continued American involvement directly or indirectly supporting apartheid, wish to have the support of the Union Theology Seminary Student Cabinet and the student body in supporting its program. The statement supports the withdrawal of personal bank accounts, the distribution of literature, and the presentation of the issue to local churches...
