One reason for higher income was contributions from Walks for Development of the American Freedom From Hunger Foundation. We have given most heavily over the last several years to projects in the Portuguese territories compared to other areas of in southern Africa. $200 of this was given to the Lutuli Memorial Foundation for their educational work in South Africa. A young lawyer, Douglass Wachholz, researched goods come into the United States from South Africa produced by forced labor. We printed a new pamphlet on U.S. economic involvement in Namibia. George Houser traveled in Guinea and also saw something of the Angolan work in Zaire as well as in Zambia, and the Mozambique Institute work in Tanzania.
