Description

This poster was part of the "women's campaign" of the Anti-Apartheids Beweging Nederland (AABN), produced with support of the UN Centre against Apartheid. The poster is split by an upward slanting line, with red above and light blue below. An Africa woman, In the upper red portion, looks down at a white woman in the light blue portion, who is looking up. Each photographed face has a straight line down through the center, with one side in the dark and the other side in the light. Through the United Nations, the large posters, in English, French and German, were distributed internationally. For domestic use, a smaller version was printed in Dutch.
