Mailing to all Support Committee members saying the national planning meeting for March 9-11 in Jackson, Mississippi has been postponed to the TransAfrica Weekend in Washington D.C. because the number of Support Committees that responded prior to the deadline fell just short of a quorum. The Seventh Annual TransAfrica Dinner will be held at the Washington Hilton Hotel on June 9, 1984. Sam Nujoma, President of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), will be the key-note speaker; Harry Belafonte will deliver a review and outlook of TransAfrica, and actor Brock Peters will be Master of Ceremonies. The agenda for the National Support Committee Conference on June 9 is enclosed.
