Invitation to a national strategy session about the Anti-Apartheid Act of 1985 to be held on May 14, 1885, in the Cannon House Office Building. Prime House and Senate sponsors of the legislation will speak. The bill includes provisions that were widely supported, and passed, in the House of Representatives in the last Congress. This bill, H.R. 1460, will make it clear that the U.S. will no longer tolerate economic relations with the South Africa regime which it imprisons Black leadership, prohibits meaningful political dissent, and oppresses the majority of its people because of race.
