The memorandum discusses lack of compliance with requirements for reporting between the Support Committees and the National Office that were agreed to at National Support Committee Conference in June. Only the Baltimore Support Committee submitted both Bimonthly and Quarterly Reports promptly. A blank bimonthly report is attached, with sections to complete on Legislation, Meetings, Membership and Fundraising, Events, and Comments. Plans are solidifying for the October 5-7 conference of Support Committees in Chicago. Baltimore's Artists for Freedom Theatre has agreed to sponsor a benefit play on South Africa for the Baltimore Support Committee.
