Letter to ACOA supporters who have expressed an interest in working on the legislative campaign to reinstate U.S. adherence to the United Nations sanctions against Rhodesia. The letter says we are happy to report that identical bills were introduced on May 22 in the Senate and the House to amend the U.N. Participation Act of 1945 so as to exempt the Byrd amendment from being applied to the enforcement of U.N. sanctions, thereby halting the imports of chrome ore and other materials from Rhodesia.
