Mailing to members of the TransAfrica Chicago Support Committee about a meeting on November 19. After the meeting, the Coalition for Illinois’ Divestment from South Africa (CIDSA) will hold a benefit party. Proceeds of the party will help pay for general expenses and also to defray expenses of a conference on organizing around divestment on December 3, 1983. Bernard Magubane (author of “The Political Economy of Race and Class in South Africa”) and others will be at the conference.
