Contact national, state, and local leaders about TransAfrica and provide a list of elected officials who will be visited by us. 8. Send regular mailings to legislators. 9. Consider hiring a lobbyist. 10. Seek a resolution by the City Council condemning apartheid. 11. Raise $6,000 by September 1983 - $5,000 for the Support Committee and $1,000 for the National office. 12. Submit a fundraising plan, a proposed budget, and the committee roster by December 31, 1982. 13. Suggested area of focus – South Africa, Economic Relations and four Caribbean countries - Haiti, Jamacia, Grenada and Cuba. 14. Suggested Fee Schedule. 15.
