Memorandum from Dr. Robert Starks, chair, Free South Africa Movement Chicago and Mark Durham, chair, Chicago Artists for A Free South Africa. Memorandum advertises a benefit on December 28, 1986. FSAM and Chicago Artists have been involved in activities which raised awareness about the fight for justice in South Africa. These efforts have been instrumental in forcing the U.S. government to begin to alter its relationship with the apartheid regime. Help is needed to continue to keep the community informed and to end our U.S. support for the Botha government.
