In this letter to members of the TransAfrica Chicago Support Committee, the Executive Committee reports on a meeting in Washington, D.C. with more than 60 members of other Support Committees based in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco, Indianapolis, New York, and Cincinnati. Chicago was one of five support committees to receive an award, and Chicago will host the next annual meeting of all the support committees in September. People are invited to the next Chicago Support Committee meeting, where important planning work will be done.
