Invitation to the next meeting of the Labor Committee for a Free South Africa on October 7, 1987 at the Institute for Industrial Relations. The agenda will include continuing work to prohibit South African cargo from local ports, joint activity with other organizations, and participation in campaigns around political prisoners and labor rights. Stopping South African trade entering or leaving ports in San Francisco and Oakland gives support to the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) and other embattled labor and freedom organizations in South Africa.
