Round beige button. A brown photograph of Stephen Biko, looking straight forward, fills the space. Small brown lettering is around the edge of the button. Biko, a leader of the Black Consciousness Movement, was arrested in August 1977 and beaten to death by the security police on September 12, 1977. Most likely this button was produced in the United States. Size: 2-1/4 inches across.
