Late 1988 or early 1989
Poster advertising hearings on the Oil Embargo against South Africa at the United Nations on April 12 and 13, 1989. “no fuel” appears in large letters slanted somewhat downward, taking up much of the space of the yellow poster. The letters are white at the top and black below, and each letter has smaller and smaller amount of black, giving the impression that the letters are losing fuel. “for apartheid South Africa” is written in blue script at an upward angle across “no fuel.”
