Round button apparently produced at the time of the tour of the United States by African National Congress (ANC) leader Nelson Mandela in June 1990. A small color photograph of Mandela appears within the top half of an image of the continent of Africa. Behind his head is a circle with yellow, green, and black horizontal stripes. The southern part of the continent is white, with “Free the land” in red. The continent is on a background of red, black, and green horizontal stripes.
