White round button with black text and image of the face of Solomon Mahlangu in the center. Mahlangu participated in the student uprising that began in Soweto on June 16, 1976. He went into exile, joined the armed wing of the African National Congress (ANC), Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK), and then returned to South Africa. Mahlangu was involved in a gunfight with police in which two white civilians were killed. He was charged with the murder and executed in Pretoria on April 6, 1979.
