Mozambique Support Network
Chicago, Illinois, United States
Undated, probably late 1980s
Round button with dark green background. "Defend" appears in red letters, and what appears to be a red rifle goes through the yellow letters in "Mozambique." "Defeat Apartheid" appears in white letters; a spear with a white blade and black handle goes through the word "Apartheid." A letter from the Mozambique Support Network (MSN) national office in Chicago, Illinois in December 1987 publicized what was apparently a different button with the same slogan that was created by the Toronto Committee for the Liberation of Southern Africa (TCLSAC). A number of publications of MSN also used this slogan. Size: 2 1/2 inches across.
