This button contains a complex version of the logo of the National Union of Namibia Workers (NUNW), which was formed in 1977. The center of the button contains horizontal bands of blue, orange and green (from top to bottom). On these colors appear drawings of a hammer and a pick, forming an "X" with two buildings on the left, a mountain and ship on a body of water on the right, and an open book beneath. Around this image is a design from which come two hands clasped at the top.
