Button created by Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) for a campaign against Chase Manhattan Bank. A barbed wire fence goes across the button, between the two parts of the text. Chase was as a leading member of a consortium of banks that provided a revolving loan fund to the South African government that was instrumental in resolving the South Africa economic crisis following the Sharpeville massacre. Size: 1-1/4 inches across.
