This button was used in the campaign calling for the release of Andimba Herman Toivo ja Toivo, a co-founder of the South West African People's Organization (SWAPO), and other Namibian political prisoners. Ja Toivo was imprisoned on Robben Island in South Africa from 1968 until 1984. The round button contains a color photograph of ja Toivo on a white background. Around this image is a border of the colors of the SWAPO flag - blue, red, and green. On this border, the text appears in white. This button may have been produced by SWAPO, probably in the United Kingdom.
