The round button has bands of red, black and green, often used in the United States to symbolize African liberation. The text is in white. H.R. 1580 was introduced by Congressman Ronald Dellums to strengthen the sanctions against South Africa in the Comprehensive Anti-Apartheid Act of 1986. It was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives in 1988 but failed in the Senate. Size: 2 inches across.
