Delegation organized by The Africa Fund presented ballots collected in 46 states by the "End Apartheid: Vote for the People" campaign to House of Representative Majority Rep. William Gray (at right) at the Capitol. The delegation included (from left to right) Boston Mayor Raymond Flynn, African National Congress (ANC) Chief U.S. Representative Lindiwe Mabuza, and The Africa Fund Executive Director Jennifer Davis. The ballots signed by Americans supported the transition to democracy in South Africa and called for strengthening U.S. sanctions until this was achieved.
