Display of The Africa Fund's "Unlock Apartheid's Jails" campaign demanding the release of political prisoners at a Tower Records story in Tempe. A sign on a triangular box reads "Show You Care About the Victims of Apartheid." People were invited to drop keys in the box that would be symbolically delivered to the South African government. A poster is hung above the box. This was one of 60 Tower Records stores that put up displays for the campaign, as announced at a press conference in New York on september 28, 1987.
