Jessie Duarte, an executive member of the Federation of Transvaal Women (FEDTRW) and Research Officer to Reverend Beyers Naude, addressing a reception at the Church Center for the United Nations. Duarte was part of a delegation to the United States of the United Democratic Front (UDF) leaders, led by Albertina Sisulu. FEDTRW was affiliated with the UDF.
