Curnick Ndlovu, National Chairman of the United Democratic Front (UDF) and trade union educator, speaks at a reception for a delegation of UDF leaders. Ndlovu was a long-time member of the African National Congress (ANC) from Durban. Behind the podium is a poster of the Unlock Apartheid's Jails campaign. The reception was held at the Church Center for the United Nations. The delegation met with President George Bush at the White House and with members of Congress to discuss the importance of sanctions. [An article about the delegation's trip appears in the Fall 1989 issue of ACOA Action News.]
