Alexine Jackson, of the Young Women's Christian Association of the USA (YWCA), addresses an event at which American women salute the South African Women's Charter. The event was co-sponsored by The Africa Fund's Women's Project and the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW). It was held at the Cannon House Office Building on International Women's Day, March 8, 1994. Alexine Jackson was national president of the YWCA.
