A small photograph of James Mange, an African National Congress (ANC) activist, is in the middle of this round button. The background of the button is the three bands of color in the ANC flag - black, green and yellow. Mange had been sentenced to death; that sentence was commuted to 20 years in prison. Most likely the button was created by the African National Congress, possibly in Zambia.
