The poster features a drawing of a sledge hammer raised above three-dimensional white letters spelling “South Africa,” with narrow chains connecting the letters of each word. The forearms of the person holding the hammer are each handcuffed; one handcuff says “Made in U.S.A.”; the other says “Made in Europe.” The background of the poster is mostly green, blending into yellow at the top. The word “FREE” is in red on the yellow background, with small flames around the left and bottom edges of the letters.
