Anti-apartheid button used in campaign to stop Chase Manhattan Bank lending to South Africa. The button was built on the marketing slogan of Chase, which said, "You have a Friend at Chase Manhattan." The round tan button contains lettering in blue. The Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) also used the text from this button on an ink stamp that it used on the back of Chase checks. Size: 1-1/4 inches across.
