Police officers are keeping contained protestors on the occasion of the dedication of the Kennedy School of Government and its new library, which was to be named after Charles Engelhard. Engelhard played a major role in South African gold mining. Signs can be seen that read "Isolate the Apartheid Regime" and "The K-School of Apartheid and Repression." The protest was organized by the Southern Africa Solidarity Committee (SASC), joined by the Harvard-Radcliffe Black Students Association (BSA).
