The poster marks the fourth anniversary of the assassination of Eduardo C. Mondlane, the first president of FRELIMO (Mozambique Liberation Front). He was killed by a bomb in a book sent to him at the FRELIMO office in Tanzania. A black and white photograph of Mondlane appears on a white background at the center of the bright yellow poster. Around this image are five photographs depicting men and women who are FRELIMO activists, marching with guns, helping a child, and preparing food. Most likely this poster was produced by FRELIMO.
