Button celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the African National Congress (ANC), which was formed in South Africa in 1912. The green, round button contains a logo of the ANC with a shield, hand holding an upright spear, a wheel, and the black, green, and yellow flag, with "ANC" below the wheel. The button was produced for an event on March 24, 2012 at the South African consulate in Chicago, organized by activists in Chicago and the Midwest under the name African National Congress Centenary Chicago-Midwest Committee. The button has a union bug. Size: 2-1/2 inches across.
