Students at the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) protesting at the UC Regents' meeting held July 17-18, 1986. The protest was part of a campaign to get the University of California to divest from companies doing business in apartheid South Africa. At the meeting the Regents voted to divest. A portion of a sign made by APC-PAM (All Peoples Congress, Peoples Anti-War Mobilization) is visible.
