New York City Comptroller Harrison Golden addressing demonstrators. The demonstrators march from Mobil Oil headquarters to the Shell Oil offices in Rockefeller Center. The demonstration was part of a campaign by the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) calling on Mobil and Shell to withdraw from apartheid South Africa. The demonstration was held on the anniversary of the June 16, 1976 Soweto uprising.
