George M. Houser, Director Emeritus of the American Committee on Africa (ACOA) and The Africa Fund, and President Nelson Mandela outside the Parliament Building. Houser was Mandela's personal guest at the opening os South Africa's Parliament. He was in South Africa helping Walter Sisulu, the ANC's (African National Congress) retired Deputy President, work on his memoirs.
