Gay McDougal, Executive Director of the Southern Africa Project of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, consults with the mother of Simon Amukoto who disappeared in northern Namibia. The other person in the photograph is an interpreter. This trip was the first time McDougall was able to get into Namibia.
