Approve the East Lansing Police Department Fair and Impartial Policing Consultation In the center of this yellow, round button is a drawing of the iconic photograph of the dying, 12-year-old Hector Pieterson, a who was being carried by a fellow student during the uprising in Soweto that began on June 16, 1076. A teenaged girl is running with them, her hand up in horror. The drawing and lettering are all in black. Around the edge is a band of black that becomes a chain in two places; in one of those segments, the chain has broken. A union bug is at the bottom of the button.
