A demonstration at the Henry M. Jackson Federal Office Building in downtown Seattle with signs reading "Abolish Apartheid - Shut Down the Consulate" and "Happy 70th Mandela." Nelson Mandela's 70th birthday was on July 18, 1988. Many events were held around the world marking Mandela's birthday and calling for his release from prison.
