Union rally in support of divestment from companies doing business in apartheid South Africa in front of the office of New York State Comptroller Edward W. Regan. One demonstrator holds a sign by made by the Public Employees Federation (PEF) and one demonstrator holds a sign made by the U.S. Out of Southern Africa Network APC/PAM. The demonstration was organized by the Capital District Coalition Against Apartheid and Racism; the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA); and the Public Employees Federation, Capital District Region 8, ALF-CIO. Comptroller Regan opposed divestment.
