Father Michael Lapsley speaking at the Fellowship of Reconciliation headquarters. On April 28, 1990 Lapsley, an Anglican priest and member of the African National Congress (ANC), lost an eye and both hands when he received a parcel bomb mailed from South Africa to his home in Zimbabwe. [Note on date: Lapsley toured the United States in October and November 1991, most likely this photo is from that visit.]
